This Acceptable Use Policy defines behavior required to keep Equitista secure, reliable, and fair for all customers.

Permitted Use
Customers may use the service for legitimate business analytics and research workflows within contracted limits.
- Use the service for internal investment, diligence, and advisory operations.
- Maintain access controls and protect credentials for all authorized users.
- Follow applicable law and industry obligations in each jurisdiction of operation.
Prohibited Actions
Misuse that threatens security, availability, confidentiality, or legal compliance is not allowed.
- No malware delivery, phishing, credential stuffing, or unauthorized account access attempts.
- No reverse engineering, bypassing controls, or exfiltrating non-authorized datasets.
- No unlawful content, rights-infringing uploads, or harmful automated abuse patterns.
Automation and Scraping Rules
Automation must remain within documented interfaces and contracted throughput limits.
- Do not scrape interfaces intended for human interaction when an API path exists.
- Do not use traffic patterns that degrade service quality for others.
- Coordinate high-volume synchronization jobs with Equitista support.
Enforcement and Response
We may investigate violations and apply proportionate controls, including temporary suspension.
- Investigations may include traffic analysis, event correlation, and customer notifications.
- Serious or repeated violations may result in suspension or termination of service access.
- Where practical, remediation windows may be provided before permanent action.
